Sunday Worship

Sunday worship at Christ First United Methodist Church is casual and interactive. Can I get an AMEN?

We gather to read scripture, pray, sing, and share communion. All are welcome at the table, just as you are.

Join us in person or online every Sunday at 11:00 am.

Bible Study

Bible study at Christ First United Methodist Church is open to all ages and all levels of experience.

We gather for seasonal book studies during:

  • Lent (the six weeks leading up to Easter)

  • Pentecost (the fifty days after Easter)

  • Advent (the four weeks before Christmas)

Our Bible study follows Lectio Divina, a slow and prayerful way of reading scripture. As we read, we ask simple, open questions:

  • What do you notice?

  • What do you wonder?

These questions invite reflection, curiosity, and shared insight rather than quick answers.

We read from several Bible translations to gain new perspectives and deeper understanding, trusting that God continues to speak through scripture in fresh ways.

All ages are welcome. Come as you are.

Fellowship and Outreach

At Christ First United Methodist Church, fellowship and outreach are part of our everyday life together.

As Methodists, we love a good potluck. We gather around food, coffee, conversation, and laughter, believing that community grows when people share life together. Every Sunday after worship, we gather in the fellowship hall for snacks and drinks. Please feel free to bring something to share, your presence matters most.

We also seek to be a place of support and care in our community. A Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meeting, Higher Ground, meets at the church weekly from 7:00–8:00 pm for those who are looking for a meeting.

In addition, we support local food access by receiving weekly donations of shelf-stable food for the Mat-Su Food Bank and assembling emergency food packs to help meet immediate needs.
